Our dream home was surrounded by trees. This created an oasis for the spiders and other things. When I tell you the house was covered is spider webs – it was! It felt like we are visiting the house of Addams family – for real ;-). Focus Wiley…. The spider eviction has started. I started on the main level. I am armed with some yellow gloves, a broom and some insect spray. I’m thinking about getting a cape 😉
I have a feeling this won’t be easy — is anything easy? Not for me so I go. I swept each room and then sprayed the corners. Talk about a pile of dust and legs (spider legs). As it turns out, that was the easy part. To the basement I go! This area was a little more intense. We had to start from the ceiling down. There is nothing like walking straight into a spider web – yuck! Instantly feeling like I need to take a shower – oh wait, can’t take a shower because it leaks 😉
Spider webs and dust create a crazy dust ball that hangs on any and everything. This was bigger than a broom and required something more powerful – bring on the shop vac and the ladder. So far, that seems to be working – we will see
